Information
overload, brain drain... terms most of
us are familiar with in today's increasingly
complex world. As our society grows ever more
dependent upon technology for both
communication and education, the challenge for the
individual becomes how to best
utilize the seemingly limitless available
resources without becoming
overloaded.
Identify Your Learning Style
I am a visual learner.
I learn best by reading or observing and
then reflecting. You might be an
auditory learner, someone who mainly learns by
hearing and speaking. Or, perhaps you are a
kinesthetic learner, someone who
learns primarily through physical action,
experiencing or doing things.
While people may take
in and process information in different ways,
all learning begins with curiosity and
questioning. In my work as a life coach and
consultant, I've found that those who are curious
about their own personal development are the
most likely to be open to change.
Understanding how you learn best will support you
reshaping your future!
The questions that we
and others ask will shape our lives. If we want
things to change in our lives, we need to ask
different questions or find someone who will. So
today, I ask you to consider these questions
for yourself:
- What are my biggest
hopes and dreams?
- What actions will get
me there?
- Who might help me
along the way?
- What am I resisting
that might move me forward?
- Have I
developed patterns in my life that are
preventing me from reaching my goals?
- How do I best learn
things?
- Are there new things
I must learn in order to improve my career
/ relationships / life?
- What things are no
longer serving me that I might let go
of?
Learning is defined as
acquiring new knowledge, behavior, skills or
preferences. By considering the
fundamental questions above, you will be on
your way to learning all you need to know in
order to change your life path and create the
future of your
dreams! |
