At a reception and ceremony held at New York City's famed Plaza Hotel on May 25th, 2010, Denny Stockdale received an award for his book, Conversations from The Neighborhood Ice Cream Shop: 8 Keys to Rediscovering Lost Dreams and Finding Your Life’s Calling, which won the top prize in the Inspirational Category of the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Presented by the Independent Book Publishing Professionals Group, this annual non-profit national competition recognizes and honors the most exceptional independently published books in 60 different categories each year.
